Coraline - R1/US BD

Universal Studios have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Coraline on 21st July 2009. Available on single-disc DVD, two-disc Collector’s Edition DVD and Blu-ray Disc, all include both the 2-D and 3-D version of the main feature and come packaged with 4 pairs of 3D glasses.

Blu-ray release: this is a Blu-ray Combo release which comes bundled with a standard-def DVD that includes the 2-D version of the film (AV specs as per the DVD releases), audio commentary, and a Digital Copy of the film. Features include:

2-D and 3-D Presentations
1080P 1.85:1 Widescreen
English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio
French and Spanish 5.1 DTS Surround
English SDH, French and Spanish subtitles
U Control - Picture in Picture (2-D Feature Only)
U Control - Tours and Voice Sessions (2-D Feature Only)
U Control - Picture in Picture Animatic (2-D Feature Only)
Deleted Scenes
The Making of Coraline - Director and screenwriter Henry Selick hosts this behind the scenes feature about how this hand-crafted, stop-motion animated film was made
Voicing the Characters - Coraline’s acclaimed cast and filmmaker Henry Selick talk about their experiences working on the film, including defining the perfect voice for their characters

I also prefer the US cover but this was done well to display a lenticular cover!

HDMS have this on there site Coraline Giftset (Blu-ray).
Anyone got any info of what kind of giftset it is?

...

Two-disc gift set comes in collectible packaging and includes postcards and a hardcover "making of" book.

Universal have announced the US DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Coraline Limited Edition Gift Set on 8th December 2009.

Released earlier this year on DVD and Blu-ray Disc, Coraline returns for the holiday season as a Limited Edition Gift Set which comes in special packaging with a book and post cards. The 2-Disc DVD and Blu-ray sets offer the same disc content as the previous releases (Disc 2 on the Blu-ray is a DVD/Digital Copy of the film) and come with 4 pairs of 3-D glasses.

This looks really cool! might be getting it, even though I'm not too crazy about the "animated motion picture" aka cartoon itself!lol :D
