This re-release seems to have the best sound- & picture quality available.
I have the Korean Limited Edition of this film in my collection:



The packaging is rather unique (for a Korean film), but it feels cheap and you shouldn't keep the DVD inside, because it will scratch. For English subtitle comparison I also have the HK DVD (got it as a YesAsia freebie):

That is a great collection you got going, keep up the good work! looking at the pics i have fallen in love with the host limited edition and the memories of murder one. any info on where you got them from? im guessing they are probably oop?

Yeah, a nice cover always helps! At least it helps me getting excited to watch a film, but then again it seems to be best to have the lowest expectations possible.

Thanks for your comment. I bought both editions used. 'Memories of Murder' is OOP and quite hard to find. Somebody on here recently won one on eBay - the first one I had seen this year - and let me tell you, it wasn't cheap.
The easiest option to get 'The Host' would be the Trading Post in the Forums or just YesAsia. Otherwise you should check eBay or any other place, where DVDs are sold - it's not that hard to find. I think there's someone over on the DVD Talk forums trying for month to sell his for $20 Personally, I don't care for the film or the edition, but that's just me, people are generally very excited about both.

As far as updates go: well, I've got stuff I'm waiting for, but right now, everything is in a mess and I don't really know what is on its way and what isn't. I guess this way it'll be more of a surprise if something arrives.
Come April I'll hopefully have some time to catch up on all those films.

Well, you've found the right forum then. Trust me you're not alone.

I got some shipping confirmations today and received these 5 films. Sealed (or supposedly sealed) for a change:

Couldn't get anything done, so I ordered some more Korean DVDs and took some pictures of the ones I received today instead. But first up are, upon special request from Morty, pictures of the 'Best Korea Movie Collection' from Flex Ent. I only own 5 of the 7 films released in the series, but I have no doubt that I'll be getting the other two as well one day.
The design is - sadly - very simple. They really could've used larger pictures of the original posters ...
