It's a nice set, but I think it's pretty weird that the two slipcases are not wide enough to keep the amaray inside - makes it look cheap.
This replaces my Korean 2Disc SE:

Probably the 1Disc release I was willing to pay the most for. (Not that I think the story/film itself is a masterpiece, but for me movies are also about watching beautiful people - and you can't go wrong with Lee Eun-joo and Lee Byeong-heon.)
- I mean, if I actually started to watch all these obviously gorgoeus films in such an appealing packaging, I'd definately go broke... I'm really afraid I'd like them too much, so I'd get into a whole new buying frenzy... now we don't want that to happen, it's bad enough with me as it is

Beautiful collection... I am still thinking of that Little Prince too...
I'm a bit too tired right now, to celebrate that properly. All I can say, that the pace of new acquisitions in the first two months of this year really surprised me. (and dried up my wallet) And it doesn't seem to stop for now: I have found some more people selling their collections and have currently ordered >35 editions (>40 films) - so there will be some updates soon.
), Bungee Jumping of their Own (beautiful film), all very hard to find.
However, I agree with you on the lack of extras...

That's a mighty good looking shelf, dear, honestly.
cheers!jab wrote:Bungee Jumping of their Own: Korean Limited Edition cut
jab wrote:Just a word of warning: like everywhere else Korean publishers sometimes make beautiful editions for less than mediocre films, so not everything that looks good is really enjoyable. (though, obviously, tastes differ) If you're seriously considering starting to watch asian films, I wouldn't recommend starting with 'Little Prince' - the film isn't really that good. (And it has little to do with Saint-Exupéry's novel, which is a good thing, because the film only hints at the magic of the book, without taking much away from it.) Anyway, you got your PM, where to get it a couple of days ago.
. Seems you always surprise us with your (OOP) additions.

In that case I'd certainly go visit my local IKEA store more often

the edition is good but the amaray is really mean..they put a great box and a scenario book with a simple amaray? brr
i'm happy with my chinese special edition..at least is more "interesting looking" ^^

Sukachu wrote:Agree with you. For example Once in a Summer, that box looks nice but the movie itself is average. Just got it because of the package and it was so cheap.
As for Little Prince, I found the movie ok. It was worth getting it, the slipcase for the LE is neatly made. (It's in sale right now if I'm correct).
