Actually, I already had that edition, but only as an ex-rental copy, so the booklet was missing and there are stickers on the cover&disc, which means, you might have guessed it, it has now been replaced

I'm soo happy I got one of these :oohyeah: For some reasons I really like Hong Sang-soo films and the edition itself is very lovely.
I already have "The Day a Pig Fell Into the Well" and "The Power of Kangwon Province" (see next 2 posts - I'm going to keep these (for now)), but I haven't seen "Oh! Soo-jeong" (aka "Virgin Stripped Bare by Her Bachelors")! This film has been my on the number one spot of my wanted list for quite some time now. It will be a bittersweet experience watching it, because next to "Rainbow Trout" (which sadly has only been released as VHS and VCD so far) it is one of the last roles of Lee Eun-joo that I haven't seen. (But maybe I'll change my opinion on TV-Dramas later on and watch the ones she starred in.)

(that little card on the bottom apologizes about the mastering of the DVD: the print used is in 1.33:1 whereas the theatrical release was in 1.85:1, which means, that the boom microphone is visible in some scenes. The "remastered" new release has the correct aspect ratio.)

jab, you got some nice new editions - I'm very happy for you!

The Hong Sang Soo Collection looks very nice, I think I have to get it soon if I have the chance. I liked The Day a Pig Fell Into the Well very much and I'm also pretty much interested in The Power of Kangwom Province. I know there are editions of those films with slipcases out there, but you know... those Digipaks are always a treat for the eyes.  ;)

PS: Finally I was able to get registered here! I will also open a thread with my collection soon. I'm looking forward to it!

Thanks! I can try to take some more, but the reflection of corrugated cardboard make it quite hard for my flash. (It's just an excuse for my more than poor photography skills.) But basically there is nothing "new" to see - everything is shown on page 8. (I had forgotten to add the pics of the little booklet, but I've just edited the post.)

 Morty!  Nice to have you here! (btw: just wrote you a PM on afw)
Yes, these are some nice editions - thanks for selling them to me :) I really like Slim-Digis and the Hong Sang-soo collection has a nice design. Supposedly these are also the remastered versions of the films, but I haven't tested that yet  I hope they release "Night and Day" soon, but I've heard that they have sold all rights to the French distributor and French Discs aren't known for being English friendly. :|

I'd love to see some new pics from your collection! Especially the complete Korean Film Archive Series! :norty: :norty:

Is there anything special about the purple edition? I thought they all have the same content.
I agree "My Brother" is a good movie - and I'm glad I got the LE ;) (Btw.: the way you constructed your sentence I first thought of "Oh! Brothers", which also isn't bad at all.)
For some reasons I have a talent to miss your posts and it always takes me ages to reply to your PMs.

I have now taken pics of most of the ~100 editions that "didn't make the cut". But I haven't uploaded them yet, which means it will still take some time until I'll post some of them.

@Giggles: You'll have to wait a few days for some more "Princess Aurora" pics - sorry.
