I got suspended from eBay because of listing "The duchess (Limited Satin Package)"and VeRO didn't response to my request .... So sad of first time suspension in 2 years  :crying:

I think open my own website is a better choice now because eBay can't distinguish the Authentic from the bootlegs. (They were clouded by the darkside of the force...)  Image

Welcome.  It´s so nice to have you here.

Yes. I would prefere if you had your own website from where one could order all the cool Thailand versions, and regular DVD titles as well.  However, you would have competition from other e-tailors, though.

Anyhow, welcome

it's not easy to operate an e-shop for a thai dvd seller.
the reason is that thai films have a very limited overseas market.

the easier way is to have a third party platform that provide cross-border trade. you have to realize that there aren't many people out there willing to buy import dvds where local releases are available.

i have talked to someone running a hong kong e-shop and 80% of their dvd sales are chinese & oriental films that not available overseas. Most overseas customers only buy items that are not available locally.

you should avoid selling mainstream movie dvds especially recent releases on eBay. A lot of sellers (include big companies' ebay accounts) got suspended by doing that.

Most of Thailand dvd collectors would prefer to have Thai audio which they can watch the movie with the parents and family rather than having DTS sound.

So sad for the collectors who prefer quality of the sound like dts.

Thank you very much for your advise. I agree with you Feilong.

The market for thai movies is very limited especially because they didn't include english subtitle on the disc.

Many people (even me) don't want to purchase a normal type of dvd from oversea except LE or some gift set.

May be I'll try to post it here in this board when I've reach the minimun post requirements.

Thank you for your advise. I'm very curious that why other seller who sold the same item like me can sell it and still available.

I'm in doubt that some of my competitors report me to ebay?

Dear Frances,

There're nothing special for this edition.

Just normal edition dvd in simple keep case.

and there's no information of the special features written on the back cover.

It depends on how you define EXTRAS?

if your EXTRAS mean
- surprisingly brilliant video quality
- powerful DTS soundtrack
- exclusive and interesting bonus materials
that is, anything related to the quality of a DVD, then you find nothing in most Thai discs.

However, I do like Thai DVD giftset that bundled with a T-shirt. I found that those T-Shirts from Thai DVD giftset, are very good quality. I only buy Thai giftset that comes with a nice T-shirt but not those comes with useless gadgets.

PS. My Thai Death Note T-Shirt still in good shape after years :)

I'm not interested in t-shirts, pins, whatever. And great picture quality isn't an extra, but a basic item ;)

By extras i mean some deleted scenes, a nice documentary, stuff like that! :)

I can guarantee that the T-shirts which come with the major studio movie is a good quality item. he he  :norty:

But for the special features is only available on the disc which provide by major studio in Thailand.

If the some major films didn't be distributed by thai major studio, the second class studio will take place and do it.

When we got the disc, they'll have only the movie with no special features because they didn't bought the license of the special features to distribute (they claim that they don't have much money, special features license is very expensive and Thai people don't like special features.... which is not TRUE!!!  :doubt: ).

You'll see that PMEG company always do that. I don't like them.
